Moderation and project management

BVÖ offers the takeover of tasks in terms of moderation within the context of workgroups, cooperation projects and processes of discussion and decision making to interested cities and communities as well as associations and private enterprises. In case of long-term or interdisciplinary tasks or tasks where several departments go hand in hand, BVÖ also takes over the whole project management. International activities

Guest lectures:
Questions concerning Transport Ecology (in the broadest sense) are of growing importance at colleges, universities and institutes of further education. Educational establishments are increasingly interested in involving external research and planning practitioners who enable the reinforcement of specific aspects or who develop a 'superstructure' in terms of transport ecology. 
Employees of BVÖ have held guest lectures, successive seminars or university teaching positions at several educational establishments (more).

Trainees:
With the regular offer of trainee placements, BVÖ pays tribute to the practical training for young talents of science. So far, trainees from different directions of training have worked at BVÖ for 4-6 months, during which they were involved in a wide range of projects (more).

Supervision of diploma and doctoral theses:
With respect to junior staff development, encouraged by regular interchange with trainees, BVÖ supervises diploma and doctoral theses regularly, sometimes also in connection with running projects.From various faculties of different universities, final theses have been supervised successfully so far (more).
